Hi, I just joined the group, and was wondering if anyone has pictures of container water gardens. Also are there any members from Kentucky?

I have sprouts! And, doesn't it figure, it snowed last night. Guess it will be a while yet before the sprouts can be transplanted to the containers!

Yay, my pots are ready, the compost and soil mixed. Now, the seeds need to start sprouting! :) Got the itch for some fresh veggies!

Self-watering pots make veggie pot gardening even easier! Especially with heavy feeders like tomatoes and cucumbers!

If you're veggies, use the largest containers possible. You'll be glad you did. The watering will get intense otherwise.

I am planning on doing my first container garden this summer. Is there any helpful hints to get me on the right track.

Dale~I know where that is! We lived in S. OKC/Moore off of Santa Fe. I can't remember the name of the sundivision anymore. We were both active duty at the time at the hospital. I remember picking insulation out of my garden and Christmas stuff too. It was just so sad.

Kate, I lived right off Sooner in the Prairie Ridge subdivison, about 2-3 miles from the base. My husband was stationed at Tinker for 3 years -- shore duty for a sailor!
